Christian Louboutin S/S ‘12
Not really for me to wear (I don’t think), but these are fucking dope.
So I don’t think I could let myself buy these (just a litttttttle too ridiculous and obviously insanely priced), but if someone bought them FOR me, I would have to wear them at least a couple times, just to be polite, right?
And then I would just wear them forever and ever.

[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]To Paris with love, Donna Summer (WAWA Radio Edit)
Internet, you’ve failed me. Apparently there’s been a new Donna Summer single out for almost a month and I didn’t know about it. The track itself is pretty generic but still better than most of the standard club music out there, and that ridiculous Louis Vuitton shout-out is stuck in my head now. It was written for them though, so it’s a nice bit of marketing and Donna probably got some nice bags and luggage out of the deal. (My sister is dying to get LV luggage to go with her bag(s), despite me telling her that everyone will think it’s fake if she doesn’t dress better when she goes to the airport)
In other Donna/Louis Vuitton news, she performed at their store re-opening in London last month and made Marc Jacobs sing back-up for “On The Radio”, which made me smile. Given his penchant for rentboys, Bad Girls probably would’ve been a better fit though.

I hope Courtney Love and Tom Ford just continually try to top each other with ridiculous stories from their lives each time they talk. That Tom Ford manages to be friends with both Madonna and Courtney Love AT THE SAME TIME just makes my desire to be Tom Ford that much stronger.

Another Megan Fox pic from Interview. Seriously, her face here is perfection (Yes, I know it’s ‘shopped, I mean expression included). Interestingly enough, this is the closest she comes to looking directly at the camera/viewer in the entire set. It creates a distance and coldness to the pictures that gives them a greater sense of tension, and keeps the photos from becoming “sexy” as opposed to sexual.

Megan Fox should give up acting and become a high fashion model because she can deliver a striking image, but a monologue…not so much. This Interview magazine photoshoot by Craig McDean is the best thing she’s ever done, every picture is visually stunning.
It is one of my life goals to be on the cover of Fantastic Man. If the inside article would describe me as a “Machiavellian schemer” (whether it’s intended as compliment or insult is unimportant), I could die happy.
Jessica Stam should be a much bigger star outside the fashion industry. She’s one of the few models whose photos have some personality these days.
I can’t figure out why I like this picture so much. Maybe it’s because it’s casual and unpretentious? I do love how they put together a reasonably priced outfit and then just throw in a $12,000 Cartier watch to push it back up to ridiculousness.
- From a great article in the New York Times today. The quote really shows why there are no super-models anymore, the women aren’t allowed to be distinctive in any way or to express themselves, instead just being living hangers.

chace in wwd beauty biz magazine.
Does this seem to anyone else like he’s doing his best Chuck Bass impression here? The look, pose, and even the facial expression are a little similar.

Ciara (no seriously) in French Vogue, photographed by Riccardo Tisci
She’s a bit upstaged by the male model on the right in terms of holding my attention, but still, what a stunning picture. And who expected her to go high-fashion and actually pull it off?
